Get video transcripts for free, paste them into your AI chat, and get quick insights.

How it works

This is not an AI chat by itself. It's a tool you can use to grab text version of YouTube videos and use them in your AI chat.

Option 1: Copy-paste the video URL

  1. Paste a YouTube video URL into the input field, and click "Get Transcript" to fetch the video's transcript.
  2. You can also add a prompt to customize the transcript.
  3. You can then copy-paste the result to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or any other LLM you use. For longer transcripts or transcripts of multiple videos at once you can download the PDF and attach it to your AI chat so you can ask questions about it.

Option 2: Just add "vs" before the video URL and hit enter

  1. On desktop while you're watching a YouTube video, just add "vs" after www. and before "youtube.com" and open that url.
  2. This will automatically load the transcript of the video and from there you can do whatever you want with its transcript.
